Patricia C Rink

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many, Mom passed away peacefully on Feb 11th surrounded by family.
Born Dec 6th, 1935 to Carl and Rose Chisholm, Mom was a life-long resident of Tacoma and devout member of St. Patrick Parish. She attended Aquinas Academy and treasured the lifelong bonds of friendship with her classmates from the Class of 1954. Unwavering in her faith, Mom chose to become a disciple of God. In doing so, she showed how one's complete trust in God serves as their guiding light.
Mom blessed our lives by building a legacy of genuine kindness, humility and service to others. She embodied selflessness, compassion, and pure love. She had a knack for always putting others first and was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Mom's life revolved around her 6 children and 12 grandchildren. She was determined to attend every event, and was their #1 fan.
Mom is preceded in death by sister Rosemary, loving husband of 51 years Gerald "Doc" Rink, and grandson Steven Sheppard. She is survived by children Cathy Sheppard, Jim (Cheri), Bob (Stacia), Bill, Mary, and Brian, grandchildren Christopher, Katie, Maria, Kyle, Andrew (Kaitlin), Mikaela, Jonah, Joel, Micah, Jessica & Sawyer, several nieces and nephews, and numerous people who considered her a bonus Mom or Grandma.
