Patricia Carol Ann (Carlson) Ramseth

Obituary Beautiful Patricia Carol Ann (Carlson) Ramseth was born in Seattle to Stella and Harry Carlson on August 27th, 1941. She peacefully passed away at her Renton home, with family, on March 9th, 2019. She was 77 years old. Patricia attended St. John's Catholic Primary School. She graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle in 1959, where she met the love of her life, Jim Ramseth. Patricia married her sweetheart Jim soon after high school and they proceeded to have four amazing children Peter, Theresa, Geoffrey, and Renee within five years. Patricia worked outside of the home, when she was not busy being a young mother who was teaching her children to love and dream. Her outside jobs included being a long-distance phone operator, a waitress, working at REI, but, she was most renowned for her 20 years of opening and managing a rural Post Office in Covington. Patricia's life was given to loving and providing services to others. Her service to others began with the Associated Catholic Childhood Club while in high school to multiple ministries at St. Anthony's Parish in Renton: Including PTA, Youth Commission, Stewardship, Engaged Church, Eucharistic Ministry to the home bound and to local Hospitals, and many years with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Patricia is survived by her husband; her three children and their spouses, Peter (Lisa), Theresa Strutynski (Adam), and Renee Samuelsen; her sister, Kathy (Leon Maurice); and sister-in-law Kay Carlson; In-laws Barbara and Victor Avolio, and Bob and Connie Ramseth; 10 nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Alysha, Kathryn, Melanie, Joshua, Nicholas, Jacob, Rose, and Jessica; and two great-grandchildren Zek and Lily.
