Norma Berscheidt

Obituary Norma Berscheidt, born July 17, 1926, in Ellinwood, Kansas, passed away September 1, 2005, in Tacoma. She lived in Kansas until 1948 and after her marriage to Jerry, she traveled extensively with him, following his career in the military and with the State of Washington. After retirement, they moved to Yakima, where she enjoyed fishing, flowers and birds. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Viola Feist and is survived by her husband Jerry of 59 years; children: Jackie (Steve) Poyorena, Mary Berscheidt, and Dennis and Henry Berscheidt, all of the Tacoma area; 7 seven grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 am, September 3, 2005, at St. Patrick Parish Center Chapel, and Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 pm, September 2, 2005, also at the Parish Center Chapel.
