Nevaeh Laray Lee

Nevaeh LaRay Lee passed away at home surrounded by family August 4, 2024, at the age of 13 following a lifelong battle with Niemann-Pick C disease.

Nevaeh was born early on July 25, 2011, at 33 weeks in Tacoma, WA. As just a 3lb. little bundle, she proved her resilience and determination that would carry her throughout her life. She had a deep love for life, Jesus and her family. She lived to sing, dance, attend school and daycare, go to ballet class and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite music ranged from drake to gospel. Nevaeh was a foodie and her most favorite foods were mac-n-cheese and candied yams. Nevaeh never let her diagnosis define her and continued smiling even on her hardest days. Her sassy presence and soft soul captured the hearts of those who were blessed to meet her.

Nevaeh is survived by her parents: Father, Carl Lee; Mother, Erika (Wolf) Hunter; and Stepfather, Herbert Hunter. Siblings: Zekyra Lee, Carmello Lee, Akeara Amili, Maverick Hunter, Gohana Lee, Masen Hunter, and Stepsister, Jassmine Hunter. Grandparents: Don and Therese Gesch, and Erik Wolf. Preceded in death by Grandmother, Carolyn Brown.

Her legacy will live on, and she will be greatly missed.
