Obituary Nat Luppino, 91, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019 with his family by his side. He was born on January 7, 1928 in Tacoma, Washington to the parents of Mattia (Tamburello) Luppino and James Luppino. He graduated from Lincoln High school in 1945 and joined the US Navy shortly after. After his service with the Navy, he married the love of his life, Sally Lombardo in May 1949. Nat and Sally were childhood sweethearts and have known each other their entire lives. They started Northwest Fruit and Produce, Inc. in 1961 and, in addition to raising their family, built a successful business. The family business continues to thrive today through the dedication of their family. Nat was active in his community. He was one of the founders and director of Bank of Fife and was a member of the Tacoma Elks for over 70 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and spending time with family at his property on Lake St. Clair. He is remembered in love by his wife of almost 70 years, Sally Luppino, his children Terry (Melody) Luppino, Natalie Luppino, Marty Luppino and SallyAnn (Clive) Nicholson, and grandchildren Jessica (Travis) Pagel and sons Hunter and Owen, Kevin (Janae) Luppino and son Cannon, Brandon Carlson, Robbie Carlson, Matia Carlson, Mario Luppino and Franci Luppino. Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday Jan 25, 2019, at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 1403 So Ainsworth, Tacoma, WA 98405 with a reception following. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home
