Mike was born in Baraboo, WI on October 3, 1949. He passed away peacefully on February 16, 2024.
Born to Paul and Carole Thompson, Mike attended St. Ann’s parochial school, Bellarmine Prep and served 4 years in the US Navy. He was employed by Sears Robuck’s Co. for 30+ years in shipping and receiving.
Mike leaves behind 8 siblings: Tim, Kathy, Susie, Ann, Chris, Colleen, Tom and Greg. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Maureen and nephew Drew.
Rosary will be on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Gaffney Funeral Home at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11am at Pope St. John XXIII Catholic Church (St. Ann’s) .
Mike was a devout Catholic who loved his faith and family and growing a beautiful garden.
