Michael Mario Rosati was born November 29,1944. He passed away at his home of 49 years in Fircrest on January 5, 2021. During his last few days, he was loved, cared for and surrounded by his wife of 50 years, Joan; their six children: Joe, Mike, Chris (Kelly), Marissa, Gian and Marianna (Paul). He was so greatly loved and known to his seven grandchildren as PopPop.
Mike was born and raised in Auburn by his Italian immigrant parents, attended Auburn High School Class of 1962, and graduated from UW Pharmacy School in 1967. He spent 2 years in the Army as a Pharmacist in Munich, Germany. A couple years later he opened Save-On Drugs Pharmacy where he ran his business for over 25 years in the heart of the Hilltop community. His heart was dedicated to the community, and after he closed his business, he spent the rest of his career at the Hilltop Safeway Pharmacy until he retired in 2011.
Dad lived his life through the teachings of Jesus. He was a man of very few words but always led through actions and integrity. He was known for his infectious smile, loyalty, kindheartedness, calm temperament, and ability to lift people up in every situation.
Michael enjoyed being with his family, cheering on Husky Football with his loud bark, blasting Formula 1 races in the middle of the night, and enjoying music from the Beach Boys to Neil Diamond.
He is predeceased by his parents, Rosa and Joseph Rosati, and his two sisters, Josephine (JoJo) and Antoinetta.
You’re a good man, Charlie Brown, and will remain in our hearts forever…
