Obituary Rosie (Bertocchini) Hoover, born June 15, 1910; died October 5, 2001 in loving memory as mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Born in Tacoma, WA. Her father and mother came from Italy. There is Love along with many happy memories in our hearts. Just a day before Mother's Day, May 07, 2005 at 9:30 am her husband Melvin of 69 years of marriage went to be with her in heaven. They awaited so long to be together once again. Their bond of love for each other past and present, now will be forever more. Mel & Rosie were the best parents in the world. They were great friends, buddies, along with being wonderful grandparents and great-grandparents. Melvin Louis Hoover born June 15, 1910, Tacoma, WA; He was a general contractor - Brick and stone mason. His specialty was building fireplaces. He built for businesses and individuals in our area for over 45 years. Survivors: son, Mel Hoover Jr and his wife, cousins, grandchildren; Monte Hoover, Laurie Hoover, Jennie Kissinger, Jerry Hoover, Laurie Ann Wingate, Joe Fredenburg, along with ten great-grandchildren.
