Obituary Matthew A. Burke Matthew Burke, born on March 27, 1964 in Ft. Worth, Texas, was relieved of a long and painful illness when God took him home on February 12, 2016 to be with his brother Ben. His final hours were spent in the kind and loving care of the Franciscan Hospice House staff. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Eva, brother Sam, sister Katie, sister-in-law Laurie, nephews Joshua and James, niece Madeleine, daughter Janay Mose and best friend Tara. Matt enjoyed making friends and family laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. He was an excellent cook, indoors and out and loved to play games, especially poker. Matt also had a great time camping and playing candy poker on the picnic table. We would like to thank St. Joseph's ICU staff Unit D. They were very kind and compassionate to our family and in their treatment of Matthew. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John of the Woods Catholic Church on March 18th at 2:00pm.
