Obituary MaryAnn Helen Smith MaryAnn Helen Smith, born in Tacoma July 22, 1910, died in Lakewood August 26, 2008. MaryAnn graduated Tacoma's Stadium HS in 1928. She married Horace E. Smith in 1934. He preceded her in death in 1993 after 59 years of marriage. MaryAnn was a homemaker dedicated to family, home and her beloved game of bridge. Survivors include brother Albert Bertucci, Olympia; sister Victoria Davidek, Tacoma; daughter Sharon Berg, Oregon; son Richard Smith, Olympia; granddaughters Erin Harkness, Oregon, and Susan Haupt, Georgia; and great-granddaughter Nicole Harkness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Lakewood at 11:00 am; reception to follow at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Franciscan Hospice.
