On December 16, 2023, Maryann Meyer died unexpectedly in Kirkland Washington surrounded by her family and friends. Maryann was 72 years old.
Maryann is survived by her husband, Dr. John G. Meyer of Redmond WA; her three siblings Yvonne Lynott of St. George Utah, Dr. Anthony Lovrovich of Seattle WA, and David Lovrovich
of Gig Harbor WA; her three children Carrie Zamberlin of Gig Harbor WA, Summer Heaton of Sedro-Woolley, and Will Heaton of Redmond WA; Step daughter Brandy Andersson of Kirkland
WA; and eight grandchildren Jack Heaton-Thorton, Grace Zamberlin, Katrina Andersson, Chloe Zamberlin, Josephine Andersson, Amira Heaton, Camilla Andersson, and Enzo Heaton.
Maryann was preceded in death by her parents Anthony (Tony) and Marie Lovrovich.
Maryann was born on March 25, 1951, in Tacoma, WA. She graduated from St. Leo’s high school in 1969 and went on to attend Central Washington University.
Maryann was well known for her many artistic talents. She created and marketed her own line of jewelry, designed, and sewed clothing and was a talented interior designer. Maryann applied her
bookkeeping skills on behalf of small local businesses.
Maryann married John Meyer at their home in University Place WA on September 23, 2005. They were inseparable. They traveled to much of Western Europe, the UK, and Hawaii. In
addition to being a wonderful cook Maryann loved to read, anything to do with the sun, decorating and paint colors, water and boats, TV detective series, making jewelry, working with
leather and ceramics, gardening, and most of all being with her grandchildren. Her radiant smile and laughter put people and children at ease. She was always willing to help people who needed
assistance. An excellent listener, she helped many women who were dealing with alcoholism/co-dependency with her insightful guidance and example.
A Celebration of Maryann’s Life is being planned. Location and time will be sent out to her family and friends. Memorial contributions can be sent to Maryann’s favorite charities Seattle
