Mary Ellen Torgerson

Obituary Mary Ellen Torgerson of University Place, Washington passed peacefully on May 30, 2017 at the age of 81. Born April 9th, 1936 in Tacoma, Washington to Charles and Ellen McLaughlin of Tacoma. Mary Ellen attended St. Leo's High School and worked several years in Administration at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, Washington. Preceded in death by her husband Stanley and sister Kathleen Andersen. Survived by her sister Jean Greinke, children Mark (Debbie), Sue Elliott (Gordon), Scott (Dani), Julie Bates (Wes), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will greatly miss dearly their beloved Nana and her zestful and feisty spirit. The Memorial will be Friday, June 9th at 2:00 pm at St. Leo Church, 710 S. 13th Street in Tacoma.
