Obituary Mary Jane Lucich-Scott Mary Jane Polich Lucich-Scott, a lifetime area resident died December 9, 2009. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Polich and husbands, Vince J. Lucich and Marvin L. Scott. She was born to Martin and Frances Polich May 8, 1922. Mary attended school in Tacoma and prior to getting married she worked in the Ship yards, she also worked as an Operator for Pacific Northwest Bell and retired from the Tacoma School District as a school secretary, She later worked with her husband in his trucking company as an administrator. Mary was an active member of both Holy Cross and St. Charles Catholic Church and a member of the Y.L.I. Mary is survived by sister Kay Bombardier; her children; Larry (Sandy) Lucich, Mary Jane Wathen, Marlene (Dean) Heblich-Hertel; as well as Leslie Scott, Sidney Scott, Dana (Eric) Theis, Shelby (John) Rothstrom, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandsons. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 17, 2009,10:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
