Obituary Mary M. Gratzer Mary M. Gratzer was born March 4, 1914 in Mineral, WA and passed away peacefully November 28, 2009 in Tacoma. She was a charter member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, a longtime member of the Swiss Ladies Society, Catholic Daughters of America and the Flett Needlettes. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Alexander in 1977 and is survived by: sons, Pete (Jan), Alex (Judy); daughter Kathy Welch; sisters, Emma Docken, Hilda Loidhamer; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 3, 2009, 11:00 am St. Frances Cabrini, Rosary will be recited prior to mass at 10:30 am also at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to the St. Leo's Food Connection, 710 So. 13th St. Tacoma, WA 98405. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral home.
