Obituary Mary Ann Grant, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Mary Ann raised her family before becoming a case manager for the Salvation Army. She was most proud of the fact that all of her children graduated from Bellarmine and went on for further education. She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for more than 40 years. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Francis "Frank". Together they celebrated fifty years of marriage on May 21, 2005; children Frank (Liz), Ann (Darrel) Carreau, Ailene (Paul) Baxter, John (Mary Kate), Tim (Ann-Marie), David (Paula), Dennis (Krissi), Mary Frances, Daniel (Christina), and Krissi (Jayson) Steinlight. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Katie, Joe, Molly, Megan, Scott, Ian, Bridget, Christopher, Jacqueline, Nonie-Ann, Seamus, Colton, Tiffini, Zoey, Barrett, Brooklyn, Reilly, Michael, Gavin, and one on the way, Peanut. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Michael. Our family would like to extend great thanks to Dean Mastras, MD of Tacoma Radiation Oncology and Barbara Goff, MD of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, her staff, especially Heidi and Holly. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 5, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A vigil service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 7:00 pm also at the Church. She will be inurned at Calvary Cemetery with her son Christopher. The family suggests memorials be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance or Bellarmine Prep.
