Mary Isabelle Fontaine

Obituary Mary Fontaine Mary Fontaine passed away April 20, 2015 at age 97. She was born September 26, 1917 in Grand Forks, ND. In 1935 she graduated from Sacred Heart School in East Grand Forks, MN. She married Keo Fontaine in 1936 and in 1942 they moved to Tacoma. She retired from the City of Tacoma Public Works Department in 1977. Mary is survived by her daughter Marlene (Arnulfo) Olivarez of Palmdale, CA., nieces Dawn McMurtry of Tacoma, WA, Cathleen (Gary) Stemler, of Camano Island, WA, and Patricia Foubert of Tacoma, WA, plus many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews throughout the country, and her dear friends Richard and Barbara Bussa. She was preceded in death by her husband Keo and son Paul. Rosary will be recited at 1:15 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
