Obituary Mary Patricia (Pat) Foley Pat passed away on March 19, 2007. She was born on August 13, 1926. Her husband Richard preceded her in death. Pat was a long time resident of Tacoma, having moved here in 1949 from Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. She spent many years working as a court clerk at Remann Hall before retiring. Pat was a creative and artistic soul who was always looking for more ways to express her art. She loved the theater (especially Shakespeare, wherein for many years she made an annual trek to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival), movies, and NW Native American art. Pat was a Master Gardener who created a beautiful yard with a spectacular Native Garden. Pat specialized also in ornamental plants and maintained an impressive Bonsai collection. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and one of her favorite memories was returning to Ireland with her own mother in 1975. Pat and her husband raised six children in the Titlow are of Tacoma. She is survived by Dennis (Karen) of San Pedro, CA; Kevin (Cindy) of University Place; Meagan (Mac) of Tacoma; Sheila of Tacoma; Brian (Laure) of Auburn; Beth of Spanaway. 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive her. The family wishes to send their deepest gratitude to the Franke Tobey Jones staff and the doctors and nurses at Group Health Cooperative for all their kindness and care.
