Marjorie Gail Rivers

Obituary Marjorie (Margie) Rivers, age 82 of Tacoma, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. She was born April 10, 1936 to Kenneth and Florence Mainprice and lived her entire life in Tacoma, WA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margie is survived by her son William James Dunger (Anita), daughter Nola Oldenburg (Mark), four grandsons, Bill Jr., Brandin, Daniel, and Karl, five great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew and a number of other loving relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn VanGlubt and her dearest of all friends, Dale Baisey. Margie was a longtime active member of Visitation Parish and volunteered extensively, serving on the SVDPS board as well as coordinating the Phoenix Housing Network. Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, December 17, 2018 12:00 (Noon) at Visitation Catholic Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home
