Marilyn Jane Weber

Marilyn was born June 18, 1931 in Roslyn, WA and died May 22, 2024 in Tacoma, WA.

Moving to Seattle after graduating from Cle Elum High School, Marilyn worked at Providence Hospital.  She married Michael Weber on Sept. 25, 1954, settled in Tacoma, WA, and raised two daughters, Patricia and Margaret.

Marilyn began a 41 year career in the financial industry (1970-2011).  After three business name changes and numerous computer program changes—often occurring while she was on vacation—she retired at the age of 80 years because the business closed its doors.

Many of Marilyn’s vacations were taken on Cruise ships with one or both of her daughters.  The cruises included -Transatlantic, Alaska, Hawaiian Islands, Pacific Coast of Mexico, Caribbean and Panama Canal, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea.

Marilyn was pre-deceased by her parents, Hugh and Signa Mooney, and her husband Michael Weber.  She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Weber of Tacoma, WA and Margaret Weber-Galland (John) of Seeley Lake, MT.
