Obituary Marilyn Rose Jutilla Marilyn Rose Jutilla passed away on April 17, 2010 at her home with family at her side. She was 75. She was born in Puyallup on November 18, 1935 and raised by her parents Mary and Earnie Standaert on the family farm in Kent. Marilyn was a consummate volunteer. Twice named volunteer of the year at the Pantages Theater for the performing arts, she was also active at the Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Pierce County Visitor and Convention Bureau, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, LeMay Auto Museum and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on the Grief Committee. She graduated from St. Leo High School and attended Seattle University where she met her husband of 54 years, Ron. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Michael, Bob and granddaughter, Lacey. The death of her sons left her with a broken heart which she carried for the rest of her life. Surviving her is her husband Ron, daughter Cathy Lamet of University Place, son, Dave and wife Kristy of Auburn and son, Thomas of Tacoma. Three grandsons, Devin and Connor Jutilla and Brad Lamet. The family wishes to warmly thank the Multi-Care Hospice Team and her caregivers for their compassion and tenderness during Marilyn's final days. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, April 23, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at St. Charles Church.
