Marie Theresa Poe

Obituary Marie peacefully went to heaven on November 2, 2011. She was born in Tacoma, WA on May 5, 1924 to John and Larelda McGuire. Marie was kind, devoted to her family and an excellent cook. She was very fond of spending time with her husband, David, and enjoyed traveling adventures together. She worked from 1966-1979 as an escrow officer at Tacoma Title Company. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, David Poe, and sister, Frances Gagnon (Donald). She is also survived by her daughters, Pamela Schmid (Allen), Janet Boyer (David); grandchildren Jason Cook, Jeffrey Cook, Sean Boyer (Jenny), Paul Boyer (Rachael), Eric Boyer (Sarah), Cheri Nevins (Cole), Katie Cvitovich Mallory (Jimmy), Amy Carlson (Marty), and Marty Cvitovich; great-grandchildren Robert Cook, Wyatt Carlson, Samuel Boyer, Noah Boyer, and Grace Boyer who is almost here.. Marie is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Cvitovich (Tom). Marie's sense of humor, compassion and love will be greatly missed by all. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home.
