Marie Etta Middaugh

Obituary Marie (Dickson) Middaugh, 92, passed away June 22, 2007. She was born on Nov. 15, 1914, in Tacoma, WA and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She received her education in Minnesota and St. Louis, Mo and later served as Head Dietitian for 27 ½ years at St. Joseph Hospital, Tacoma. Lapidary was her main hobby after she retired in 1979. She was an active member of the Puyallup Valley Gem & Mineral Club for several years. Recently she was a resident of Alterra Villas, Tacoma. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Don, in 1978, and by her brothers Francis, Lawrence and David Dickson, and sister, Sr. Mary Martha Dickson, OSB. She is survived by five stepchildren, Carolyn, Donna, Don L., Colleen and Marydon and six nieces and nephews, sixteen step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her deeply caring ways, her stories, and unique chuckle. Funeral Service will be celebrated on June 25, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (Music Room Chapel). Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
