Obituary Marie Margaret Cain   Marie Margaret Cain Age 83, of Tacoma, WA died on 11/17/13 after succumbing to complications associated with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in 1930 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of Theodore and Mary Ultsch, and graduated from St. Leo's High School in 1948. Marie earned a BA from Seattle University. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert O'Donnell. Marie remarried to James Daniel Cain and moved to Santa Maria, CA. She worked as a homemaker, journalist, and organizer for the United Farm Workers Union. She was also an investigator for the California Dept. of Fair Employment and Housing. She is survived by her children: Shannon O'Donnell, Erin Cain, James Cain, Theodore Cain, Geoffrey Cain, and Jack Crispin Cain; numerous beloved grand-children and great grand-children, and her former husband, Jim Cain. A memorial service will be held at St. Leo's Church in Tacoma, WA at 2 p.m. on December 7th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
