Marianne Kathryn Reed

Marianne K. (Medved) Reed was born to Marie & Hugo Medved on January 18, 1931, in Nez Perce Idaho. She peacefully passed away on October 31, 2024. Marianne graduated high school from St. Leo's in Tacoma, Washington. She went on to earn her RN diploma from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, where she made friendships that would last a lifetime and had a career that she enjoyed.  She married Lloyd Reed in 1951 and together they had five children, Barb Barkley, Betsy Reed, Dick Reed, Bridget Vecchiato, and Beverly Eredia. Marianne had 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo's Church in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind or Dementia Society of America.
