Obituary Marian I. Shine Marian I. Shine, 83, a longtime Tacoma resident, died August 25, 2005. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and throughout the years was always involved in parish life. She was a member of the Mothers' Club, Altar Society, and other parish ministries. She was a daily communicant to whom faith and guiding her family were the priorities in her life. Marian is survived by her two sons, Rev. Mr. Mark T. (Jody Lee) Shine and Richard E. (Christine) Shine, sister Tilly Kelly, brother Robert Davies, and 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas M. Shine in 1997. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 29, 2005 11:00 am Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Sunday, August 28, 2005 7:00 pm at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
