Obituary Marian Ruth Kordell Marian Kordell passed away January 3, 2015, University Place, WA. Born September 29, 1922 in St. Paul, MN she came to WA as an infant. Predeceased by her parents; Frank and Mae (nee Keenan) Kordell; sister, Kathryn Klopf; and brother, Robert. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marjorie; cousins, nieces, nephews, and loyal friends. Many thanks to all of her caregivers throughout the years, especially those at Bethel House and Hospice House most recently. She valued her independence, loved dogs, (tolerated cats), walked and walked, and could take you anywhere on a bus in Tacoma -- was widely recognized as she ventured forth. She enjoyed movies (especially with her loving niece Rosalie) and listening to Seattle baseball games on radio. She is loved and will not be forgotten, rest in peace. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated January 8, 2015, 11:00am at Visitation Catholic Church in Tacoma. The Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30am.
