Marian T. Jackowski

Obituary Marian T. Jackowski Age 87, passed away Tues., June 24, 2008 in Puyallup. She was born Nov. 6, 1920 to Julius Bertram Simon and wife Catherine. She was a 1939 graduate of Lincoln High School. She worked for many years in the Tacoma area at local bakeries and retired from food service in the Tacoma School District. She was involved in many organizations, had numerous creative interests, and enjoyed traveling. She was predeceased by Sigmond, her husband of 64 years; son James; sister Alice Blair and Rose Herriges, brothers Donald, Bert, and Ken Simon. She is survived by her children, Richard Jackowski (Jeanne), Diane Larsen (Tom), Marianne Sorhus (Colin), and Connie Lee (Paul); 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Romstad of Fox Island; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Wed., July 9th, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 45th and McKinley Ave. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
