Obituary Margaret Norton Schibig Margaret Norton Schibig passed away peacefully on January 9, 2016 at Franciscan Hospice House after a long battle with Dementia and succumbed to kidney failure. Margaret was born in Tacoma to Catherine and James Norton on February 20, 1931. She lived in Ruston where she attended Ruston Elementary, Mason Jr. High and Aquinas Academy. In 1947 she met the love of her life, Joseph Schibig. They were married May 1, 1950 and began their life together in the North End of Tacoma. Margaret is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughter, Peg Schibig Moultine (Scott); son, Joseph; brother, James (Joan); sister in law, Margaret; brother in law, Lawrence "Ed" (Anette); grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret will be forever remembered for her gracious hospitality, cooking, gardening, buying, selling and collecting antiques. Margaret was a beautiful woman who had a wonderful sense of humor and a kind and generous heart. She gave countless volunteer hours to the food bank at Bonney Lake and at Holy Cross Library. She will be forever missed by her family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Franciscan Hospice House or to The Swiss Kids Kamp at The Swiss Park (9205 198th Ave, Bonney Lake, WA 98391). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated and Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
