Obituary Margaret (Peggy) Ann Prichard Margaret Ann Prichard of Issaquah, WA passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on May 22, 1953 to George and Katherine Prichard. She attended St. Leo's High School and the University of Washington where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Peggy enjoyed a successful career in Finance and IT. She spent many years working for Seafirst Bank and transitioned into a career in IT. She spent time working abroad in Amsterdam and spent the latter part of her career with Cobalt Group (now CDK). She enjoyed a variety of roles, most notably leading IT and Professional Services groups. She excelled at building the teams and processes necessary to support quality delivery and still meet business growth cost effectively. Over the years Peggy was responsible for leading teams through increasingly complex contract renewals. Technical and legal requirements were extraordinarily restrictive and complex and Peggy helped negotiate the best outcome possible for all parties. Among her many qualities, Peggy exemplified what it meant to be a team player who was passionate about doing things right. She was first in, last out, sometimes to a fault, but you knew if she was on it, it was going to get done no matter what. Peggy continued contributing at work until just a few weeks before her passing. She lived courageously in the face of a terrible disease and displayed an integrity and commitment to her work that reflects her amazing tenacity and spirit. Peggy is survived by her brothers, Pat (Sandy), and Mike (Cheri); nephews, Andrew (Stephanie), Sam (Nicole), Matt (Mindee), Rob (Katy) and Danny (Brittany); great nieces and nephews, Sadie, Gavin, Sebastian, Audrey, Charlotte, Miles &Liam. The family would also like to thank all of her dear friends for their love and support right to the end. Peggy loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She doted on her nephews and their families. She also enjoyed golf, reading, wine, and collecting works of art. She was an extraordinary baker, famous for her holiday cookies and her generosity. She also enjoyed a good practical joke. Peggy's loyalty, integrity and friendship will be greatly missed. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church (North 12th & J Streets, Tacoma). A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
