Margaret R. Lamb

Obituary Margaret was born in Buffalo, NY on November 16, 1926 to Francis and Rose Canham and died peacefully on July 20, 2011. She grew up on a farm in Barker, NY with her older brothers Francis, George, and Edward, all of whom preceded her in death. Margaret married Joseph Lamb and together they moved around New York and New Jersey as Joseph pursued his career managing W.T. Grant stores. Margaret also worked in retail merchandising and managed a candy store. In 1997 they moved to the Pacific Northwest to be near their only daughter, Mary Rose. After her husband's death, Margaret was active in the St. Charles Borromeo parish where she was a member of the Rosary Group, Grief Ministry, the Legion of Mary, and bible studies. She was a gracious and loving woman who will be deeply missed by those who knew her well. She is survived by her daughter, nephews, nieces, and godchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 7pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for her on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 9am at St. Charles Borromeo.
