Obituary Margaret "Evelyn" Hutchinson Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on January 15, 2007 at her home in Gig Harbor with family at her side. She was born in Tacoma, September 25, 1918 to Margaret and James Bannan. She attended Holy Rosary Grade School and Lincoln High School. After high school she worked at Schilly?s Caf?` where she met her sweetheart Rabbit and they were married August 30, 1941. They traveled extensively while the children were young and settled in Lakewood in 1955 where they raised their family. She loved to entertain and hosted many extended family parties at home. She was fondly known as the hostess with the mostess. Evelyn started her career in 1958 and retired in 1981 from Panorama City as Director of Personal Services. She was an active member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, St. Leo's Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth Circle, St. Nicholas Church and our Lady of Good Counsel Guild. She was preceeded in death by her husband Robert J. (Rabbit) Hutchinson and brothers James & William Bannan, sister Mary Muehlenbruch and grandson Daniel Reddy. She is survived by her children Karen (Jim) Reddy, Helen Adler, Robin Dolson (Doug Dignam), William Hutchinson (Linda Young) and Denise Hutchinson, Kevin Dolson, Heidi and Kalie Peterson, Dominic Young and Great Grandson Kalen Reddy. Sisters, Betty Bader, Patricia Pedersen and Sr. Margaret Bannan. Evelyn's deep and unconditional love for her children and grandchildren, her lifelong devotion to her family, friends and community, and her wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those she touched. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007, 12 noon at St. Leo's Catholic Church 710 So. 13th st. Tacoma, WA 98405 Memorials may be made to the Food Connection 1323 So.
