Obituary Margaret Mary Comfort "Maggie" Margaret Mary Comfort, "Maggie" born April 28, 1928, in Tacoma, died June 30, 2014 at her home in Fircrest. A lifetime area resident she attended St. Leo's for both grade school and high school and attended Tacoma Catholic College for 2 years. A loving wife, mother and Nana, her family was most important to her. Maggie loved to play games especially Mahjongg, and took great delight in winning. She enjoyed walking in Fircrest with her many friends, was a member of Fircrest Golf Club where she played for more than 40 years and enjoyed spending the last 18 winters in Palm Desert. Maggie is survived by her husband of more than 64 years, Dr. John Comfort; her children: Tom, Chris (Dave), Connie GeRoy (Rex), Jack (Sue), Peter (Pam), Carol Comfort-Waldorf (Wally), Amy, David (Julie) and daughter in law Kathy Comfort. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Irwin, Don, Pat, Dick, Mike and Bob Hutt; and 3 infant children. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
