Obituary MARGARET "PEGGY" LOUISE MALONEY BORBA Peggy Borba was born in DuBois, PA on 10/6/1937 and died peacefully at home in Tacoma, WA on 5/17/2006. She is remembered and loved by husband, Bill, of 45 years; children Daniel, Eileen (Paul), Andrew (Janet), and Maureen; grandchildren Alise, Peter, Correia and Walker; siblings Patty Sullivan, Joe Maloney, Jim Maloney and niece Peggy Sullivan. Peggy worked as a Physical Therapist for many years, most recently at the Tacoma Lutheran Home and Park Rose Care Center. She taught Clinical Neurology at the University of Puget Sound through the Physical Therapy program for 12 years. She had a passion for life, for travel, good food, was active in peace and social justice movements, welcoming all persons into her home and was very pleased she was able to get to know and love her grandchildren. For the blessed gift of surviving for an unexpected 8 ? years from episodes of strokes and cancer, the family would like to thank Drs. Munoz, Soronen, Soren, Senecal and Tice for their exceptional compassion and care. An extended thanks also to Bill Bichsel, S.J., Selma Wheeler, and Franciscan Hospice for love and care without boundaries. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 23, 2006, 12:10 p.m. at St. Leo's Parish. The Rosary will be recited Monday, May 22, 2006, 7:00 p.m. at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
