Margaret D. Antush

Obituary MARGARET D. ANTUSH Margaret D. Antush, lifetime member and daughter of founding father of St. Joseph Catholic Slovak Church, died June 16, 2008. She was born in Tacoma on December 26, 1916 to Michael Antush and Anna (Hominda) Antush. She was a lifetime Tacoma resident and graduate of St. Leo's High School and Racine's Business College. Margaret was a retired accounting assistant with the Kirk Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna, seven brothers, John, Michael, George, Paul, Edward, Robert and Donald; sisters, Mary Kalanick and Rose Olds. Margaret is survived by her sister in law, Grace (Scott) Antush and a large extended family that includes numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff at University Place Care Center and the team from Franciscan Hospice for all their care and support over the last year. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 19, 2008 7:00 PM at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Church Restoration Fund, 608 So. 34th St. Tacoma, WA 98408.
