Obituary Marcella "Sally" Messersmith Sally passed away peacefully into the arms of God at the age of 91 on February 10, 2016 in Tacoma, WA. She was born in St. Cloud, MN on June 5, 1924. Sally married Donald in Tacoma, WA at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on November 1945 and he preceded her in death in December 1992. Sally is survived by her three sons, Robert (Lee), Richard (Lois), and Michael (Julie); grandchildren, Karin (Kevin), Andrew (Kim), Kyle (Samantha), and Scott (Jess); great-grandchildren, Zoe, Alex, Jadyn, Presley, Parker and Kolby. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church (5510 N. 44th Street, Tacoma). The rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30am also at church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tacoma Rescue Mission.
