Sally was born on February 26, 1943 to Thomas and Marie Disch in Tacoma, WA, one of ten siblings. She was raised in Tacoma and graduated in 1961 from Clover Park High School. After High school Sally held several jobs at General Mills and Brown and Haley in Tacoma, and in later years enjoyed working at McBecklands in Gig Harbor. In 1964 she married Jack W. Sally enjoyed cooking, gardening, exercising and walking. She was an active mom and had no difficulty keeping up with her active, busy brood, often hosting many family functions and get-togethers for her children and their friends. She had a way of making everyone feel at home and like one of her own. There are many that happily filled the role as her "8th child". As her children, grandchildren, family and friends can attest, Sally enjoyed her family and her vocation as a mother to her seven sons. Her patience and guidance for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews was unmatched. To Sally, family was everything. Through all of her trials and storms of life she never wavered in her selfless and caring nature. She led by her kind example and served each member of her family with such love, devotion and integrity. Sally was a devoted daughter and sister, always ready to help others and lend assistance where needed. She loved Jesus and was a devout Roman Catholic. Her faith in God shone through her love and care for others. She will be greatly missed. Sally is survived by her sons: Trent of Tacoma and grandson, Shotter; Trevor (Jill) of Selah, WA and grandchildren, Abigail, Zachary and Zoe; Todd of Gig Harbor and grandchildren, Matthew, Julia, Jane, William and Elizabeth; Troy (Sue) of Gig Harbor and grandson, Brandon; Tyler (Rachel) of Seattle; Tyson (Ili) of Gig Harbor and grandchildren, Annie and Andrea; TJ (Nicole) of Seattle and grandson, Jack.
