Obituary Lynn Douglas Foster 1942 ~ 2008 Lynn Douglas Foster, love of our lives, passed away in Highline Hospital, Jan. 19, 2008. Born in Boise, Idaho, Sept. 11, 1942, he grew up on Lake Washington, graduated from that high school in 1961, and attended Seattle University. Along with his brother, Terry, Lynn was owner and manager of Foster's Furniture in Tukwila. On June 5, 1965, he married Judy Schofield, and together they enjoyed a family life of snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and golfing. Known as "Foster" to his friends, Lynn embraced life, his family, and numerous friends with gusto, great humor, generosity, and compassion. His grand, infectious smile and eternal optimism were a trade mark; thanks for the memories, Foster. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Anne Foster, and his son, Kevin. He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughters Megan and Emily, and brother Terry Foster and wife Gerda. A memorial service will take place at Sacred Heart in Clyde Hill on Monday, Jan. 28, at 11:00 am with reception following.
