Obituary Lynda Marie Olson Lynda Marie Olson, 53, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at her home in Tacoma, WA. She was born on October 2, 1959 in Tacoma to Albert J. Nigro and Jean Russell. Lynda grew up in Tacoma, graduating from Mt. Tahoma High School in 1978. After high school, she attended Clover Park Technical College, receiving a Certificate of Completion in Grocery Store Management, Business Communications and Secretarial. She worked for Larsen and Associates as an Office Assistant then went on to work for Catholic Community Services in the Long Term Elder Care Department as an In Home Care Specialist where she retired in 2010 after ten years of service. Lynda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Family was the most important part of her life. She loved the Northwest, enjoying trips to the ocean, Mount Rainier, her home and staying busy. She attended St. Leo's Parish in Tacoma, WA. Lynda is survived by her siblings, Mike Nigro, Maria Johnson, Mike Prosser, Greg Nigro and Carol Howald; her children, Robert Garcia, Joshua Olson, Aaron Olson and Sarah Webster-Olson; her grandchildren, Alysa Schafer, Keilana Olson and Joshua Olson, Jr; and her daughter-in-law, Anela Olson. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Rita's of Cascia Catholic Church at 1403 S. Ainsworth Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405. Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life Party will be held downstairs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Joshua Olson.
