Louis Tamney

Obituary Louis Tamney passed away Sunday morning, December 18, 2005 after an extended illness. Louis was born to John and Olive Tamney in Littleton, Colorado, April 29, 1920. Later the family moved to Idaho where he attended school. He joined the Navy and served in World War II in the South Pacific. Louis was at Pearl Harbor when the war began. After leaving the Navy, he was in business, later moving to New Orleans. He was employed by Whitehall Pharmaceutical (Wyeth Co.) where he retired. Louis was a member of St. Patrick's Church. He is survived by sisters: Alyce Allen and Aileen Meech and a nephew, Kenneth Meech of Seattle. Louis was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
