Obituary Loretta was a cook at Bellarmine (for the Jesuit Priests), Swept Wing Inn and Federal Way School System. Loretta's family was always her first love. She was an artist, painted with oils, made many quilts by hand, made food look wonderful and loved to entertain. She loved music and sang with the Y.L.I. for many years. Loretta often made her own greeting cards and was a very good correspondent. She was able to travel to Hawaii and Australia and several places in the United States. Loretta had a wonderful sense of humor and was kind and caring to those around her. For several years, she volunteered at the Lutheran Home, visiting the residents and helping with the prayers. She had been known to read 25 books in a month in her later years for many months at a time. Loretta was loved by many and will be missed, but we know that she is with her Lord and Savior and family and friends in Heaven. Loretta and Jim were one of the founding members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way. While she lived in Federal Way, Loretta belonged to St. Bridget Guild, "Over 50 Club", Altar Society and the Wedding Committee. In Tacoma, she belonged to Legion of Mary, Altar Society and Sr. Citizens clubs at St. Patrick Parish and St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Preceded in death by her husband Jim, daughter Mary Ann, parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Paul Fish, Janice (Richard) Stripes, Michael Fish, Jim (Cindy) Fish, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and one sister-in-law.
