Obituary Lois Evie Baxter Lois Baxter passed away at the age of 80 on February 15, 2015 in Tacoma, Washington with family at her side. A longtime resident of University Place, where she was a retired substitute teacher for University Place School District and an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Bob (Helen), Cynthia (Doug), and Paul (Ailene); her 3 grandchildren, Scott, Robert, and Cassandra; her sister, Joyce (Denny), and their family. Lois was well-loved and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Lakewood, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made in support of the Melanoma Renal Program Support Fund at UW Medicine.
