Linda Dahl passed away at home on June 3 to continue her journey to be with God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Cebula and Doris Brown
Linda was born in Tacoma, attended Holy Rosary Grade School, Stewart Junior High, and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was very active in sports and outdoor activities growing up, also participating later in competitive couple's dance on roller skate competitions, winning a bronze medal at a regional event.
Linda had an unwavering love for her, family, church and community. She knew how important it was to be a volunteer. Some of her favorites included the American Cancer Society’s Discover Shop, as well as being a board member during the early years of the Tacoma Downtown Farmers Market, also being actively involved in putting on the various programs and events for Holy Rosary Church and School. Linda had a passion to help and volunteer wherever she could make a difference. Linda was very creative, artistic, and an avid gardener who loved the beauty of flowers.
Linda was extremely lucky to have been able to grow up and fall in love with the boy next door Larry Dahl. They were blessed to spend 55 loving years of marriage together. Both were able to enjoy spending time traveling, having time with the family, and living their life together. They were blessed with 2 Children that Linda took a very active role in raising and helping them with their schooling, sports, scouts and just making life a lot of fun. She was a very proud and supportive mother.
Linda is survived by her husband Larry. Her children Christopher Dahl (Ann-Marie) and Deborah Dahl (Mark) both of Tacoma. Her beloved grandchildren of whom she was very proud of Kaelee-Ann Jacoby, Nina-Marie Dahl, Stephen Dahl, Breann Dahl-Smith, Jacob Dahl and Joby Martin. Great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Araya.
She is also survived by sisters Sandra Senft (Richard) of Pennsylvania and Sharon Elzner (William) of Tacoma. Brother-in-law, Ken Dahl (Mary) of Bellevue. Nephew Tim Krueger of Tacoma and Nieces; Kathleen Huckle of Virginia, Melissa Dahl and Susann Dahl of Bellevue.
Linda is also survived by many Family members of the Cebula and Kuznek families.
A rosary will be held June 24th, 2022, at 10am at St. Ann Catholic Church 7025 South Park Ave, Tacoma WA 98408. A funeral mass will directly follow. Her interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, 5212 S 70th St, Tacoma WA 98467, following the mass. Following the cemetery service, a reception celebrating Linda’s life will take place in the church basement.
