Obituary LINDA JOY BALDINI Linda passed away February 24, 2009 at home in Tacoma, WA. Linda was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine April 3, 1952 to the late Franklin "Buddy" and Betty Cox. Linda enjoyed many bright stars in her life including her loving husband, Joseph, her sons Eric and Tim Holman and the pride and joy of her life, grandchildren, Christian, Zoe and Preston. Linda is survived by her husband, sons, grandchildren, mother, Betty Cox, sister, Diane Di Maio both residing in Florida and brother, Franklin Cox residing in Michigan. She was predeceased by her father. She is also survived by many dear friends and relatives who will miss her bright smile and positive attitude no matter what life brought her. Linda had a passion for teaching piano and for educating children in elementary schools. She graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in teaching and French. When her sons reached independence, she attended St. Martins University to be certified as a teacher in Washington. Linda taught at Narrows View Elementary and at St. Patrick School before her career was cut short by Multiple Sclerosis. Linda enjoyed being with her family and friends. Before her illness, she excelled at water-skiing and swimming. Linda was very musical and she played the piano, organ, flute and sang soprano. She was the organist at her church when she lived in Maine and New York. With Joseph she made many friends in the Sons of Italy. Linda loved life and had a very strong faith. She was beautiful, intelligent, and had a kind and compassionate heart. She was lovingly called by her family and friends, the Potato Blossom Queen. She will be greatly missed.
