Lillian G. Peck

Obituary Lillian Peck, age 89, passed away peacefully at home October 11, 2006. Lillian was born December 8, 1916 to Ivan and Marija Medvedic in Roslyn, Washington. She graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1937 and moved to Tacoma to attend beauty school. Lillian then worked as a beauty operator in Tacoma and Roslyn. In 1942 she married Louis Peck with whom she enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Together with their children Don, Dick and Patti, they enjoyed fishing, camping and gathering with friends and family. Lillian worked in the kitchen at Horace Mann Elementary where she met longtime friend Paula Brongil. We will miss Lillian's kind heart, mischievous humor and the twinkle in her eye. Lillian is survived by: son, Don and his wife Julie; daughter, Pat Emerson and her husband Leo; daughter in law, Diana Wells; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Jamie, Lucas, Martha, Anna, Lorraine, and Elisabeth; great-grandchildren, Mac and Eva, and sister in law, Julia Medvedic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Peck, son, Dick Peck, and brothers, John and Joseph Medvedic. Memorial service will be held Sunday, October 15, 2006 2:00 pm at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4301 Browns Point, Blvd, Tacoma.
