Obituary Lillian Marie Beauchamp Dwyer Kishida Nov.8, 1920 ?" Oct. 22, 2009 Lillian Marie Beauchamp was born on Nov.8, 1920 at St. Joe's in Tacoma to Harvey C. and Mary Lillian Beauchamp. She grew up in Tacoma with her 2 younger siblings Dorothy and Harvey. She attended Visitation Grade School and graduated in 1939 from St. Leo's High School in Tacoma. Later she attended Business College. Her father ran the Hwy Drug in Tacoma where mom worked until his passing in 1944. She then worked at "Stationers" and Tacoma City Light. On Nov. 24, 1951, she married the love of her life Joseph Timothy Dwyer at Visitation Church; they were married until his passing Sept. 17, 1979. Both she and Joe were founding members of St. Frances Cabrini Church and were devout parishioners until each of their passings. They had 2 children, Carol and Joe. In 1983, Lillian married Tatso Kishida and they had many wonderful travels and adventures until Tats passing Jan. 1, 1996. Mom's joy in life was her singing. At a young age, her mother played the organ and mom would sing. They played for many weddings and were also in their choir at Visitation Church. After she married, she joined a singing group then called the "Cleff Dwellers". Later to be known as the "New Sound Singers". She was also a choir member at St. Frances Cabrini until 6 years ago. Her beautiful voice will be sorely missed. Lillian was also an active member in the "Catholic Woman's Club", Y.L.I. (Young Ladies Institute) and SERRA Club of Tacoma. Lillian leaves behind her 2 children, Joseph E. Dwyer, wife Judy and daughter Lindsey of Edgewood. Daughter Carol (Karyl) Kolb and husband Denny of Joseph, OR and Sister Dorothy Harrison, husband Jim of Fircrest, WA, their 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Mary Beauchamp and brother Harvey of Everett, husbands Joseph and Tatso.
