Letty Edling

Obituary Letty Edling Born to Amedee and Mary Beaudoin in Tacoma, Washington in 1926, she died peacefully at home surrounded by her children on August 31. She was a lifelong resident of Tacoma where she attended Holy Rosary and Sacred Heart Grade Schools and graduated from St. Leo's High School. She worked for Hunt-Mottet Hardware until it's closing in Tacoma. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Married to Ronald Edling in 1947, he preceded her in death in 2003 after 56 years of marriage. She is survived by her loving family, including her children, Mike Edling (Rita), Vicki Edling, Patti Lien (Larry), her brothers Lou Beaudoin (Bette) and Bob Beaudoin (Angie). She also leaves her four grandchildren Kimberlee Spencer-Ely (Mark) and Jason Spencer, Stacey and Cory Lien, great - grandchildren Lela and Kyla Spencer and Carter, Jeremiah and Theodore Ely, three step grandsons, Lonnie (Kelly), Tom and Michael Bauman and 5 step-great grandsons, Odin, Casey,Cameron, Cole and Crew Bauman, five nieces, one nephew and cousins. In accordance with her wishes, a brief service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in the Cloisters Chapel on Friday, September 4 @ 11:00 AM with a reception at Calvary to follow. A special thank you to Multicare Hospice and to her neighbors, past and present, who were so very kind to her always. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Rosary School.
