Leslie Theophilus Miller

Obituary Leslie T. Miller Mr. Leslie T. Miller (Les) passed away June 3, 2012 at Olympic Alzheimer's Residence. Les was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, grew up in Vancouver, B.C., married in Seattle and became a U.S. citizen. He worked in sales and building projects. Les moved to Tacoma in the 1990's, rehabbed a house, sold it, bought another and the got busier. Health issues, new friends, a Safe Streets Award in 2006, worked with The Hilltop Action Coalition, raised funds to remodel the Sheridan Street Park and managed a building project for Discovery Baptist Church in Gig Harbor. Les is survived by a sister; Florence, sons Bryon and Rick and granddaughter Lauren Miller-Alf (Cody). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 23 at 4 p.m. at the Sheridan Street Community Church of God.
