Obituary Leonard Sidney Harbeson Leonard Sidney Harbeson was born on September 4, 1942 to Clinton Lewis Harbeson and Martha Estelle Varner in Charleston, South Carolina and passed away on September 20, 2015. Leonard entered the US Air Force when he was 17 and proudly served for 20 years, including two tours in Vietnam; he retired in 1981 as a Master Sergeant. He then went on to work for the VA Hospital in 1985 and retired after 18 years of service in 2003. Leonard was also a proud 4th Degree Knights of Columbus member. Leonard is survived by his wife, Jean Harbeson; son, Michael Harbeson; daughters, Elizabeth MacMayburns, and Christine Palmer; brother, Christopher Eugene Harbeson; sister, Martha Bryan; and ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clinton Lewis Jr., and Ralph Harbeson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
