Leona Virginia Paulik

March 26, 1913 — November 10, 2007

Obituary Leona was born in Tacoma in 1913 and died November 10th at the age of 94. She was married for 68 years to Charles J. Paulik, who died in 2001. For over 30 years they owned and operated Chuck's Alibi Restaurant on Portland Avenue. Leona was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. She had a deep faith and was a life-long member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In addition to her husband Charles, Leona was preceded in death by her brothers John, Michael and George, and her sisters Ann, Mary, Sue, Vera and Dorothy. She is survived by her brother-in-law, John Tanghe, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, and many friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 16, 2007, 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 608 South 34th St. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, November 15, 2007, 7:00 pm in the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be Thursday from noon on. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the St. Joseph's Church Altar Society or Franciscan Hospice House.
