Lee Walentiny

Obituary Lee (Schlegel) Walentiny Passed away July 4, 2005 with her family at her side. Mom was a longtime resident of Tacoma, residing at Narrows Glen. Mom was born on March 5, 1913 in LaCrosse, KS to Carl & Catherine Schlegel. She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin W. Walentiny Sr. in 1999 and her sisters Betty, Hilda, Jerry & brother Victor. She is survived by her daughter Barbara DeFazio and son Irvin (Mariel) W. Walentiny Jr., grandsons Daron (Nola) DeFazio and Irvin W. Walentiny III, granddaughter Melissa King, great-grandchildren Heather and Ryan DeFazio, Erica and Emily King, brother Mannie Schlegel; half-brother Raymond (Martha) Schlegel, and many numerous relatives and special friends. We love you Mom, and we miss you. She was a generous person to everybody. In her earlier years she loved to cook, sew and tole paint. She was a collector of toothpick holders, thimbles and shoes.
